IEI Fanless Ultra Compact Embedded Box PC
IEI’s new uIBX-200 series is a powerful ultra small box PC which can be used in places where space is limited. The box dimensions are 120mm (W) x 125mm (D) x 44mm (H) and weighs only 1.5Kg. The fanless design also makes the uIBX-200 quiet & reliable.
The uIBX-200-US15WP uses the new Intel ATOM Z510P and US15WP chipset. This provides the uIBX-200-US15WP with ultra low power consumption while providing high graphic performance.
The Intel US15WP is the one of the lowest power consumption chipset among Intel’s low power chipset solution. Compared with another Intel Atom family chipset 945GSE + N270 running 3DMark under Windows XP, the power consumption of US15WP is 40% lower than of 945GSE + N270.
With built-in multimedia decode engine, UIBX-200-US15WP can play HD H.264 movie smoothly while CPU still has usage available to handle more tasks.
uIBX-200-US15WP's chipset has built-in H.264, MPEG1 /2/4, VC1/WMV9 decoder which is capable of displaying high resolution multimedia advertisements. Content can be updated remotely through Internet or directly from USB device or stored on SD Card.
Internally the uIBX-200-US15WP has a Compact Flash slot & 2x SD card slots. While content can be stored on SD card, operating system installed on the Compact Flash prevents OS damage during frequent read/write of content to the same disk. A lockable door also avoids unauthorized access to the CF card.
Connects on the uIBX-200 include 4x USB, 2x RS-232, 1x VGA, 1x mic in and 1x speaker out.
